Having already established itself as a valuable asset to the clients management team, Studiotech was the obvious choice to design and deliver a magical winter wonderland walk within the Festival Gardens at Springfields. (This was the first time we had ever been asked to undertake a festive display!)
The client's brief called for an awe inspiring Christmas experience for the whole family culminating in a mystical Santa's Grotto.
Some of the team at Studiotech had to regress back into their own childhoods to recapture some of the Christmas magic that, for some of us, has become distant memories.
Over a half a million lights were used in the project; wrapping trees, highlighting features and creating a carpet of light throughout the wooded area. Three dimensional festive characters were also designed and fabricated to complete the winter woodland scene.
StudioTech then again called on its sister company Unique Systems to provide the background music system, sound effects and interactive signage.
Atmosphere and ambience was created using fog machines and lighting effects. With the addition of the wonderland walks crowning glory, a 12m high bespoke Christmas tree complete with snow flurries and music, the end result was a stunning and delightful Christmas experience for children of all ages.
